I highly recommend anyone considering this deal to take screenshots of the deal, cart, checkout, etc. If I didn't have that information last year I would have been absolutely screwed out of $800 that I'm now receiving in bill credits. That $800 was supposed to be gift cards but after days of calling/texting for help I ended up in an Xfinity store where those printed screen shots and a helpful employee were able to at least get me those credits.

An additional reminder, if you want to preorder, you're limited to two preorders at a time. If your order is delayed this can knock you out of their promotional period so CYA with those screenshots of your actual order date/time and the offers at those times!

"existing customers can upgrade one of their existing lines to receive the deal."
So existing customer can only buy ONE no matter multi lines under the same account?
I recall there was no limitation for existing customer on last year, I was able to upgrade 3 iPhone 13 pro for all 3 lines under my account.

I prefer eSIM for multiple services / lines on one physical phone. It is incredibly easy to swap. My 13 Pro Max can have 2 simultaneous eSIM. I had my main eSIM from Visible. Went to Aruba and purchased a local eSIM from a carrier's website. Installed within seconds of touching down on the island. Worked flawlessly the whole week we were there.
I'm guessing you phone was unlocked.

Does anyone know if I'd be able to upgrade a phone that I'm currently getting for free on a 24-month plan? I signed up in December and got the iPhone SE 2020 for free (bill credits until Dec 23). Can I get one of these other phones instead? I'm trying to make sense of this: "existing customers can upgrade one of their existing lines to receive the deal."
You can but phone has to be fully paid off, if you got the phone with monthly credits you won't continue to receive the remaining monthly credits if you pay off the phone/lose the remaining monthly credits

Thanks, that's what I figured. I'll probably stick with my phone until it's paid off.

I absolutely, positively, and in all ways hate Comcast. I'm stuck with them because they are the only provider that can give me gigabit service, I wouldn't dare give them my
Cell service. Ewwwwwwww!!!
Their Cell service is way better than their TV service. I'm also stuck with them for internet and TV and not a huge fan. However the Cell deal is legit. We share 3 lines with 10 gig data and it's only $60. On months we are around more WiFi we can drop it down to $30

Did anyone notice when the Xfinity $100 Reward for buying a new device disappeared? I was saving it for tomorrow but now I see it is gone.

Based on past experience, they do start preorders at the same time as Apple and other retailers (5 am Pacific). I couldn't get a definite answer from Comcast but I think that's the time we can safely assume. I asked chat and they said "tomorrow." I looked on reddit and it seems their moderators don't have access to the info either. Xfinity mobile really has to step up on their marketing division. I think these SD threads are doing a lot of the marketing for them.

In your account, under device, it will tell you how much you still owe on the phone. I think you probably have $16.67 a month in credits that you would have to pay off, so you would have to pay at least $230 to upgrade your phone. (basically your SE would no longer be free but almost half off).

Would be cheaper to just add a new line for a new phone and just pay the monthly tax and just swap sims. That's how it could be done in the "olden days" (AKA before this no-physical sim slot thing with the 14). But the whole issue now is with the esim, I don't know how easily it is to swap sims between phones.

I read somewhere that xFinity's phones are locked for 24 months, even if fully paid, aren't they?
If you're on bill credits - the phone is locked until you pay off, then you've got to request unlock.

If you've paid off the phone (either upfront, or partway through the bill credit period) - you don't get bill credits or lose the remainder; you can request unlock.
