I highly recommend anyone considering this deal to take screenshots of the deal, cart, checkout, etc. If I didn't have that information last year I would have been absolutely screwed out of $800 that I'm now receiving in bill credits. That $800 was supposed to be gift cards but after days of calling/texting for help I ended up in an Xfinity store where those printed screen shots and a helpful employee were able to at least get me those credits.

An additional reminder, if you want to preorder, you're limited to two preorders at a time. If your order is delayed this can knock you out of their promotional period so CYA with those screenshots of your actual order date/time and the offers at those times!

Can you please confirm if the actual amount is different from what was shown to you while placing an order?

This is one of the best deals for an iphone launch if you don't want to pay exorbitant big-3 monthly bill and still get the newly launched iphone.

Personally, I am getting Iphone 14 Pro for $400 off PLUS a complete saving of my $200 yearly Boost 2GB prepaid plan as I will be adding my line to existing account and share the data. In other words, it is a total savings of $600 (400+200).

I didn't get that info since I brought the phone via phone call with CS.

Thanks.
I think mine is $10 off the Internet for a line on By The Gig plan and $20 off for Unlimited. I already have one line on BTG and another on Unlimited. Both fully paid off. I was thinking of porting out the one on Unlimited and porting it back into XM after a couple of days or a week but before Oct 6th. Do you know how many days is the waiting period before porting out and back in?
Also, for the discount on the new line does it have to be a port in or can be a brand new number? If port in, did you simply get a new line elsewhere and ported it into XM immediately? And where/how did you do it?
I can see why you would want to port out the unlimited line out and port it back in. I have never heard of this type of discount based on data. When I did it earlier in the year, they only had the $30 off one and it didn't matter what kind of line it was as long as it was a new line. The thing is that you can switch a line to unlimited and off at anytime before the billing month period ends, so seems very messy discount in terms of calculations. Who did you talk to about the discount? Maybe call retention and see if you can get clarity or a better deal, so you know exactly what you need to do because it is almost impossible to get the discount if you mess up any of the steps or parameters. Plus you won't even know until 2 months later because it takes them 2 billing periods to have all the discounts in place. I called two times and had them read the terms to me both times to ensure I knew all the parameters.

I am not sure on how many days you have to wait but from prior deal threads for BYOD, it seems like it can take weeks if not months to clear your number from the system. If you want to get the $100 for BYOD, you likely won't be able to use the IMEI from your current phone.

When I did mine, I brought in a number from Google Voice. I cannot recall if they required a port in or not but I did to get max rewards. A new line is the cleanest way to ensure the monthly discount happens and I will not be cancelling it until my 2 year discount is over. It was difficult enough to get the BYOD reward from Xfinity (took me 6 months), so I like to be very clean about it.

My dad needs a phone and I try to add a new line plus buy a new phone to get $400 discount. However, it only works for when I port a number from another carrier.
Can you please let me know if I create a new number from Google voice, is a new number attached to my current phone number since I need to enter my current phone number while doing a set up? How do you get transfer pin to port out a new number to xfinity? Is a new number still attached to my current phone number after I port out to xfinity?
I don't want to mess up with my current phone number since all verification is going to that number.
Thanks so much.

yeah this is the part where I got stuck "Go to the Data Details for the By the Gig line you'd like to enable Data Saver for." I clicked on "Activity" tab, then my line under "My Data" but it doesn't show data saver option on the next page, just option to change amount of data, view past usage / call logs, and international travel
I was confused by this too. Then I saw that the Data Saver option will only appear in 4G lines, and NOT on 5G phones. Option is there on my Pixel 3 line, but not on iPhone 12 mini lines.

One of my worst fears. Keep us updated on how you hopefully resolve this quickly in case this happens to someone else here.

My suggest would be to try to call during US business hours and try to get a domestic person on the phone. You can tell pretty quickly how useless the call is going to be when they start to repeat a canned statement like "Oh certainly, I can help you with that" and follow up with questions that basically ask what you already told them or have nothing to do with your issue.
update on my case: I was able to file a claim through live chat. they asked for police report and supporting photos. I sent them the next day and they closed my case two days later saying they did not hear back from me. Called again to reopen the case and send the documents when talking to the agent. He was able to confirm documents received and said it will be resolved with in 48 hours. But I did not get the answer in 48 hours. Called again and agent still say they did not receive my documents. I asked him to check emails from my address and later he said documents received and I would receive a resolution with in 5 days. Nothing happened. Called again today and I asked to talk to a supervisor. The agent said let him look at my account and again say no documents received. I told him they were sent two weeks earlier. He checked the emails and found my documents. He said the documents were received but some how the case was not assigned to any agent. He said it was assigned to an agent now and I will receive a response within 48 hours. With in 20 minutes I received an email from Xfinity Shipping Claims that my case was approved and got a refund. Hope this could help others who face the same issue. Going forward I will never signed on delivery before opening the package to check the box has my order.

And to add one more thing: during the past two weeks, I received several activation codes for the new phone that I did not receive. So clearly someone stole the phone and tried to activate it. I think the phone is tied to my phone number and he could not get the code to activate it.

I had a shipping issue also Fed ex lost my order (iphone 13). I reported to comcast they said they would setup a case and it would take 15 days to correct the issue. I called back and they said is had to pay for the phone because I did not make a police report. The shipment didn't even make it to my state. I am still trying to have the phone removed from my account.

Thanks for the update. After seeing what happened to you, I rushed to open my package before the guy left but I guess I should have checked the box before even signing. I was totally not surprised by how many times you had to call to get this resolved. They have great deals but not for the faint hearted or non-persistent.

I guess the e-sim does have its benefits, since you said it was tied to your phone number and no one could activate it after they stole it.

Don't worry about your current phone number attaching to the Google Voice number. I think it is a way for Google to make sure that the user is in the US and to prevent fraud. After you port out, the Google voice number will have nothing to do with your existing phone number or Google at all, it will all just be a new number at Xfinity for your new line.

You set-up your own pin number. I would suggest you do a quick search for the exact steps because that is what I used but I do recall it is hidden in a legacy menu. It costs $3 to unlock the google number to port out. I would suggest you set up the pin and unlock the number before you start the Xfinity order for a new phone and transfer of a line.

Thanks so much for the information.
Do you know how long I can port out the number once I get Google voice number since xfinity promotion is ended on October 6?
