IMO it's best to wait. There's no deal to be had here, $800 for the 13 Pro Max doesn't seem like much of a promo given that Apple's standard value is $720. Now if they bump that up and/or bump the price down by $100, like they did last year, that will be a deal.

Probably not. Unless sales are crap for the first quarter. Maybe Apple and phone carriers will consider taking in older phones like the XS for a really good trade-in value. I have a 11PM. I think this would be the last year to trade in if the carriers do a special trade-in deal. If not, I will keep using my 11PM and wait for the 15PM.

I have two for pics/video and keeping them. The 15 next year should be something.

After fighting with the site for hours. I finally get it in the cart. Was ready to go. And decided to wait. $975 last year spoiled me. I'm hoping that comes back. Especially since I have to drive 2 hours to trade in. My local stores can't do trade ins.

There was a glitch last year in CA if you did online trade-in process that resulted in full tax. In-store only taxed on the difference between trade-in amount and phone price IIRC.
