Ok, so apparently, the t mobile deal this year just sucks unless you're on magenta max.

I got $700 for 13 pro, so upgrade to 14 pro max 512gb was $699, which is quite a bit. Looks like they're really pushing for people to get on magenta max. I still got it, but I'm not happy.

If you guys can wait a month or two, there will probably be an additional $100 or $200 incentive thrown on by nov. I just pulled the trigger, because I'm too old for this shit, but if you want better savings, best to wait.

I had to trade in my parents phone (iphone 12 pro max 128 unlocked) was credited 600$
So my monthly for equipments is 20$ for 2 years not bad.

That "October" deal is the same deal that began on the pre-order date last year. I personally grabbed this deal last year in September, and the slickdeals post was available on September 17th.
