Good price, and I am a Costco fan but the waiting time for tire service at Costco can be long. Remember that you have to go back for periodic rotations, and the time adds up. PM Costco at a tire store and get faster service.

I just had Discount Tire price match a set of Cross Climate 2's. It came out cheaper at Discount Tire. The out the door price was I had added to the cart, before any taxes even applied. I also used this a few months back for the BFGoodrich deal, same deal with matching the cart price. This included labor, taxes and all other fee's which saved another $100 or 2.

This is normal promo for Michelin tires at Costco. Taking a look at the prices just now and they've gotten more expensive...dang inflation!

I just bought Michelins for the landcruiser from Costco. $250 each installed which is about the price for tires for this car regardless of outlet. I got 78k miles out of the last set (Bridgestone) and hope to get similar from these. My mechanic rotates the tires with oil changes so I don't have to do the Costco wait for tire rotations.

Buried in their website, they say they include a free prorated road hazard warranty. When I called discount tire they also said the free road hazard warranty was for the life of the tire, but I can't find that on the website.

Honestly think I'm going to get this without shopping around just for the free balance/rotation @ Costco.

I know other places offer it too, but I know I'll just get lazy and never bother going back to the tire shop just to get a rotation, whereas I'm at Costco ~3 times a month already. I saw a few others mention wait times at Costco, but my tire centers take appointments.

Anyway, thanks for reading my life story.

TLDR: I'm going with Costco just because that's the only way I know for sure I'll use the benefit of free rotation/balance.

Drove over to just tires and got a better price ( saved $150 over the Costco save $150). If you don't get at least 2 estimates for your tires you are not "saving".
I need to replace 2 tires. Costco do sell 2 tires but no discount. The other 2 tires has 8/10 per dealer so i only need 2.

Where did you end up getting tyres? I have to shop around. Last time got replaced in discount tyres. But i thought they didnt gave a good price last time. Just scratching head on how to start or negotiate.

I got burned buying a set of Michelin's about 12 years ago when I got 54k miles out of a set of truck tires that had a 80k mileage rating which had been properly inflated and rotated every 5k. The set cost $850 and I got a credit towards the new set, but that didn't save Michelin's reputation in my book and that was the last time I went with Michelin's.

I have never gotten a front end alignment on any car after buying new tires and never had any uneven tire wear. Is this something "suspension type " specific? Or are you referring to wheel/tire balancing? If so, I'm pretty sure Costco does it with installation.

Got installed Bridgestone weatherpeak few days back from Costco. Everything was quite fast (took less than 3 days to place order and install).
