Good price, and I am a Costco fan but the waiting time for tire service at Costco can be long. Remember that you have to go back for periodic rotations, and the time adds up. PM Costco at a tire store and get faster service.

I just had Discount Tire price match a set of Cross Climate 2's. It came out cheaper at Discount Tire. The out the door price was I had added to the cart, before any taxes even applied. I also used this a few months back for the BFGoodrich deal, same deal with matching the cart price. This included labor, taxes and all other fee's which saved another $100 or 2.

This is normal promo for Michelin tires at Costco. Taking a look at the prices just now and they've gotten more expensive...dang inflation!

100%. I like to shop for some bargains but the tire center is way too backed up and slow. Prefer my local guys these days. They know you and help you out with things like flats nearly instantly

I can't recommend the CrossClimate 2 enough for anyone that deals with snow. I live in the top 3 highest snowfall cities and I used to run dedicated WS80 snow tires with Pilot Supper Sports but the WS80s are way worse in the transitional months when temps are ~40F and are more slippery than a greased pig in the rain.
A friend put CrossClimate2 on his Mazda 3 6-speed. Very happy in the snow, but claims his mileage dropped a lot (like 5 mpg worse) on dry roads.

What deal do they usually have around Black Friday? I remember it was really crowded last year. Any help is appreciated. TIA
Both Sam's and Costco have free installation around Black Friday, plus whatever deals on tires they may have. So you save about $80. But I had to get tires now, can't wait until BF as it is very likely we'll have snow by then.

Life time and performance do not like each other in tires world. If you want better stability in dry and rain just get the performance Michelin ones. If you want better life get the touring Bridgestone ones. Also pirelli and Goodyear are good choices. But costco do not have them. I had none performance tires before and do not like them. I prefer to be safer on the road
Yeah I get that, and it was understood when I saw the warranty is 40k and not 70k or 80k like on some of my friend's tires. I do find the safety part of the performance tires to be worth it. I feel very confident on all surfaces in ways that I did not when I was driving on my stock tires and also my parent's Honda civic tires. If I get 30k miles I'm happy and fine with that.

BFGoodrich - Advantage T/A Sport LT
Tire Size: 235/65R18
Total (4set+installation+tax+tpms-discount $110): $827.40

Michelin - CrossClimate2 (has two options see below)
Tire Size: 235/65R18
Speed Rating: H
Total (4set+installation+tax+tpms-discount $150): $831.40
Speed Rating: V
Total (4set+installation+tax+tpms-discount $150): $871.40

Need help in deciding on my suv I live in Georgia, BF or Michelin? Also Michelin has different types Primacy TourA/S, Premier LTX, Latitude Tour HP, CrossClimate2(SpeedRating: H or V), Pilot Sport 4 SUV. If I go with Michelin which type are better?
H rating is for up to 130mph
V 149mph

I've personally never seen any stock SUV going beyond 120mph. The aerodynamic design will not be comfortable to fly at such speed let alone on public roads. Needless to say, H rating is more than sufficient.
On a side note, the Michelin CC2 is an excellent tires for many. The only reservation one should consider is the noise level once it passing the 30-35k milestone. The rubber will be harder. The channels will get shallower. The contacted area will increase. All these factors will contribute to more significant road noise. With that being said, I wouldn't mind the noise if I'm driving a sport car. I feel that that is a part of a true enthusiast's experience.

How much cheaper? I wonder how that balances out in the end against all the advantages/benefits you get from Costco

I'm not sure what to think about these versus the new Bridgestone Weatherpeak. Need really strong snow performance in NE Ohio.

Has anyone seen anything very negative about the Bridgestone Weatherpeak?

Just got a new car while the new tires has the most value. Would love to switch out now but if Bridgestone is better, it looks like I might be waiting for the next 150 off on Bridgestone (just missed last month). Anyone know how often Costco does these 150 off sales?

The Weatherpeak does have a pretty soft sidewall surprisingly. If your vehicle is an SUV, you may want to reconsider. It actually softer than the Turanza and Alenza.

Get up to 4% back if you have the CC though.

Expect to wait an entire day for your tires to be installed, Costco tire installation is the slowest. 🤣

This is just my personal experience

I will never buy tires from Costco again! Last time I did, I went back after a tire blew out on the highway. I had their road hazard warranty or whatever they call it, so I took the tire back to Costco. As soon as I got to Costco, they accused me of never rotating the tires. Which I religiously do because of my long commute. These tires were around 6 months old when the tire blew out. I had to argue with the tire manager for about half an hour, before they gave in and agreed to replace the blown tire, which I paid the extra road hazard for. After they agreed, they told me they didn't have the tire model in stock and that it would take anywhere from 1-2 weeks to get the exact model tire to replace my blown one!

Never again! I now use Discount Tire exclusively for all my tire needs. I love their road hazard policy, no questions asked! Free tire inspections and air ups. I will never buy a tire from Costco. They may be cheaper but buyer beware.

I agree Costco sucks for installing tires. They refused to mount tires I bought because I had non-factory wheels that weren't the stock size. Now I order from Costco or tire rack, whichever is cheaper and take the tires to my alignment shop.

So you showed Discount Tire the price in the Costco cart? And they matched that
I do that (show Costco's final price in my cart online) every time at Discount tire…they always beat it by a little. Plus service is usually way faster. And always free flat repairs and air checks.

Make sure to take photos of your wheels before install. They scratched every single wheel after install. :/
