Good price, and I am a Costco fan but the waiting time for tire service at Costco can be long. Remember that you have to go back for periodic rotations, and the time adds up. PM Costco at a tire store and get faster service.

I just had Discount Tire price match a set of Cross Climate 2's. It came out cheaper at Discount Tire. The out the door price was I had added to the cart, before any taxes even applied. I also used this a few months back for the BFGoodrich deal, same deal with matching the cart price. This included labor, taxes and all other fee's which saved another $100 or 2.

This is normal promo for Michelin tires at Costco. Taking a look at the prices just now and they've gotten more expensive...dang inflation!

Incorrect, they have you make the appointment after you place the order. It's possible they wait until the appointment approaches before sending the tires so the warehouse isn't flooded with tires they don't need right away...

No, "they" don't make you do anything. You can't make an appointment until you have an order #, but that does not mean they delay shipping of the tires lol. You got it backwards

Tell me how making an appointment before tires are received at the center does anything. No wonder people are getting appointments cancelled if their tires are delayed in shipping. Maybe if you make an appointment that is like two weeks out and the store gets the tires next week then yeah it will work, but that's not how the tire center will tell you to do it.

Correct, this is what happened for me. Ordered Michelin Pilot Sport All Season. At time of ordering the messaging and the order email said 7-10 days, and I received email next day saying tires received/delivered in warehouse. Pretty sure they had it already in stock.

At least Sams Club is going to be having $160 off some brands starting 10/26. I'll get my new tires then. I tried price matching with AT, would've been $25 extra total, but they can't even get the Michelins right now either.

Just got the climate 2s installed at my local costco. Busy took an hour half and the guy at the front desk didnt even bother calling me back. The road noise and feel is night and day difference between the Original tires i got on my 2019 toyota rav4. Mine was 4022 so manufactured 40th week 2022, expected fresh new tires because they were oos for a while. Never going back to discount tire shops selling me old cracked tires that only last a couple months.

There are a bunch of stuff written on tires, look for the DOT code and google what the numbers and letter mean. For me its DOT followed by a mix of a four letter/number code and then 4 numbers. First two digits are the week it was made and the last 2 are year.
