Ratchets aren't for torque. Once the bolt is tightened, you can then use it like a regular ratchet to final torque or vice versa.

It didn't perform that badly. You're not going to be doing fastener gauntlets with it. For $100 it isn't bad, especially if you're on the DeWalt battery system.
