Honestly neither. These are great running shoes but if you're not moving at at least a moderate pace they actually feel a little unstable, the pros even more so.

The shift would be a much better choice

Good deals.

Also, the campfire story colorway soles glow in the dark, in case anyone enjoys some night runs.

For just running on a treadmill and some moderate circuit training like burpees and push-ups which is better? Speed 2 or Pro?

Thanks i didn't know that.

I was super excited because I first read this as 2 pair for $75

Still a good deal for some awesome speed training and racing shoes.

I am using speed 2 for speeds between 5 and 6 on a treadmill and they feel great

If anyone has any experience with these and New Balance 1080's v10, v11 or v12, are they as comfortable as the NB?

Definitely not the pro. They should really only be used for race day or speed runs on the road. They wear quicker and you won't see any benefits of what the shoe is meant to provide. They aren't trainers. Not even the Speeds really. I'd go Endorphin if you want to stick with Sauc and maybe look into shoes geared for HIIT for anything non-running

Do you mean you'd do shift? I like the $50 price point for a version of saucony. I used to get Asics at a local outlet but they closed up. My shoes are all pretty tired at this point

Omg the speeds 2 are so good! for any runs (speed work or recovery runs). I picked up both endorphin speed2 and the endorphin pros 2 up last sale during summer and have about 250miles on the speeds and they are still feeling great.

I just love how the nylon plate feels compared to the carbon on the pros.

They feel more squishy/soft and that helps with the recovery on the knees and ankles. I feel like i can run everyday when i use them.
(I weighed 150lbs and i read somewhere that the nylon plate maybe more beneficial at that weight compared to the carbon… or maybe the carbon plate has a longer breaking in period?)

Also for some reason, the lacing system on the speed 2 feel better then the pro 2. The heel seems to lock better for me on the speeds….ymmv

If anyone wants a lot more feedback on all these popular shoes, go to reddit.com/r/RunningShoeGeeks . Search within that subreddit forum and you'll see a million posts for these Endorphins.

I ran a 10K as a previous non runner in the Pro 2s, albeit with a serious training regimen, and I rotated other trainers in as well. Was top 4% finishing. I love those shoes. Can race hard in them. Also I especially love the Vizipro colorway -- like a trail of fire!

edit: don't forget your favorite cashback site (rktn is 4%), and paypal/discover for another 5% back.

I've had 1080v10s. They're very different from all these shoes. The upper feels completely different. I'd say the shift is the closest to the NB.
Very cushy and soft.
