It's bright. 300 ANSI lumens is bright by portable standards. You can see, visible in an overcast setting outside. It's small and comes with a nice case. In fact the case is a clamshell with enough room to perfectly fit this BT speaker [amazon.com] I bought from Amazon. Making it a complete package for video and audio for portability.
So the question of the day and elephant in the room is... Is 540p watchable? Yes. Easily, yes. I'm not trying to confuse or minimize higher resolutions. I'm saying it's not needed to enjoy a movie/video. One caveat: if you absolutely need to read text for like a presentation... obviously 540p can't be ruled as adequate for most, but just entertainment, it is great.
Who would enjoy this? Anyone that wants a truly portable projector for entertainment. That's it.
Any drawbacks since I'm obviously a shill? Yes, a few. The first major drawback is the auto keystone feature doesn't work when going vertical. It tries to compensate for the tilt even at 90 degrees instead of defaulting back to flat. This sucks for those of us that like to lay down on a hotel bed and watch something staring up at the ceiling. I've been able to shake the internal gyroscope sensor to reduce the keystone effect, but its tedious and not reliable. Use an extra sheet or blank wall if available.
It also uses much more power than my other Sony Laser Pico projector. Admittedly that one is just 32 ANSI lumens so it should be expected, but still you'll need 10,000mah of battery PER hour if you plan on going entirely portable. So expect to use a power bank of at least 20,000 for a standard movie, but I'd opt for a larger one just to make sure as a brighter movie makes for more battery being used.
Lastly on the negatives - I get choppy audio if I use the headphone jack for audio to an external speaker while using wireless screen share from a phone. This is avoided by going completely wireless or completely wired. Either using HDMI and a wired audio connection or wireless video and Bluetooth audio produced perfect results. Full wireless is best anyways, but I discovered this when I was being lazy and didn't want to pair the speaker initially.
$119 bucks. No tax. free shipping... you either want a portable PICO or you don't. All others need not apply.

Not even HD.
Native Resolution: 540P
With this lumen and resolution, this best fit to be a kids toy.

I guess posting 1 deal a decade qualifies them to point out a shill and actively harm the community from being able to get information folks like you and I provide.

This one is brighter, more portable and has vertical keystoning, but its also more than twice the price.
I'd still buy this one even if the resolution is lower. You just truly don't care once you start watching something.
I should just do a comparison if they are going to keep having these two deals be offered.
