I would jump on this in a heartbeat but looking at the lack of stock in my area I'm doubting it was ever an in-store item. Did anyone that snagged one previously see it as in-stock per BS?

BTW, for Home Depot "If the sales price ends with .06, then there are six weeks left before that item is priced lower. If the sales price ends with .03, then that item will be moved to clearance or donated to charity in three weeks." source [familyhandyman.com]

Nice and repped! Brickseek reported 2 in Union City, CA. Went there and found them both in the clearance section cage. It was still listed at the $94 clearance price, but I got an employee to unlock the cage and bring one to the checkout for me. It rang up at $32.03

The other one looks like it's an open box / damaged box / return with a security band around it for anyone close by.

Edit: Brickseek changed from 2 in stock to limited quantity after my purchase, so there may be one at Fremont, CA as well

Do you folks really all suddenly need a soldering station or is this just the slick deals effect? I already owned a soldering station, but got lucky yesterday and picked found two of these at my local store. Bought one and left the other, got an additional 25% off being that it was on clearance after I politely asked.

Weller is a nice brand and I think people who solder at home even for DIY projects would pick one up
