Those who missed on the Lenovo 300e doorbuster deal this one might just be as good because it is essentially the same laptop but in blue and includes the pen.
Colamco is also selling this for a similar price, for those who prefer Colamco.

Then yes this would probably work. This will play pretty much zero games, unless you boot it through a USB with a Linux distro to do retro gaming. But won't be gaming in Windows. You won't be doing any video or sound editing, or having a bunch of tabs open at once. This is for the very very lightest work. This would maybe be a good "2nd computer" (or 3rd) if your main computer is a huge, heavy gaming laptop you don't want to lug along on quick trips, but you need a laptop to go with you. You can just throw this (fully charged) in your purse or whatever for a few hours of work away from home.
This might also be good for a kid for school because they will be utterly unable to game on it.
That's my opinion anyway.

I have had one for three days. On one charge, I attended two college classes, wrote half a college paper, watched some YouTube, and organized my cloud while donating blood!
The pen is fantastic! Just fyi
Is it a "deal" , if it works for you very much so
Those commenting on how bad this deal is are simply expecting to get a mid-level laptop deal for this cheap.
This is better than the 10e Chromebook from last year.

Now simply because a CPU can run Windows doesn't mean that CPU should be used to run Windows. I don't mean to suggest this computer is broken, but I would suggest that anyone shopping for a general-purpose daily driver PC could be making better investments despite the tempting price points manufacturers have achieved with CPUs like the one in this device.
Many of these ultra-low power CPUs were originally intended for embedded applications and not as general purpose computers. However, since these CPUs are also fully compatible x86 CPUs - and cheap ones at that! - manufacturers could pump out PCs at new amazing price points. Too bad that for the buyer the experience was never going to be particularly good when using a CPU better suited to digital signage than rendering video in Windows using Adobe Premiere (or Minecraft, or video conferencing with grandma, etc.).
Additionally, Windows doesn't really perform well anymore at 4GB. More than half of the RAM space can be consumed at idle after booting up(!) - and in a 4GB PC this is incomplete as Windows is forced to limit how much of the operating system is loaded into RAM to conserve space. Paired with a weak CPU this just creates a negative feedback loop wherein your first application loaded after booting up starts demanding loads of page file/virtual memory/SSD-storage-as-RAM and the CPU to service those requests was already being overtasked with the basics of running Windows. Windows PCs limited to 4GB are better suited to power users who can make the appropriate optimizations (possibly including removing Windows for a Linux operating system).
Good luck!

On paper, this checks a lot of boxes for a specific sort of use case I have in mind:
The problem is that it looks like the performance just isn't there. The AMD 3015e (passmark score 2672 [cpubenchmark.net]) is at least a little bit faster than the old Intel Atom Cherry Trail CPUs (like the x5-8750 that comes in at 1391 [cpubenchmark.net]). But that doesn't mean it's remotely 'fast'; it's roughly on par with a modern Celeron like the N4505 (passmark 2367 [cpubenchmark.net]).
It's further hobbled by having only 4GB of RAM. This isn't upgradeable, and while it's the fastest the CPU supports [notebookcheck.net], it's SLOW: single-channel, 1600Mhz/MT/s. But the AMD 3015e is a Zen 1-based CPU, so it will be STARVING for memory bandwidth.
It's also using eMMC storage. While theoretically better than the slowest spinning rust hard drives, eMMC doesn't come close to a decent SSD. They are OK with small files, but larger files tend to choke them up. This ALSO means that Windows will struggle when it falls back to Virtual Memory.
I would have loved to see less emphasis on a touch screen 2-in-1 and just a bit more oomph in the CPU/RAM/Storage. It's frustratingly close to 'disposable laptop you leave in the car and can do something on in a pinch', but it's just not there. More than a browser tab or two will bring it to it's knees.
