Young me would go bonkers for this. Old me is incredibly skeptical and thinks it was better left as a good memory.

Are there good options for the "feel" of these old games but with those 100-in-1 games?

buy the arcade legends thats $700 at kohls. It's very easy to download the get saucy with coin ops thing that has 1000's of arcade games on it. Even if you hate the arcade legends, you can easily sell it and probably only lose $100 after a year. I owned one but sold it because I moved.

Bought my first ALU for $500 and sold it on FB marketplace for $800, then bought a second one and used the money for a ton of upgrades (BitPixel, riser, etc.). ALU is 1600 games (1300 on a $5 USB) for about $600, including The Simpsons. TONS more replay value.

The Simpsons cab looks really good, but if you ever want to play as Homer, the control layout is insanely bad, and the audio is always poppy. See review: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S...nnel=RGT85

Note, if you love Simpsons Bowling, that this may be good for that since the ALU doesn't do that particular game.

Soft mod available with nothing more than micro SD and keyboard... Modded games only run 1 player tho.
