It will also only fit a micro ATX board, so you have limited options there as well. That said, he hasnt had a single issue with it in a year. It's been great.
The GPU is worth about $600 more and the CPU is worth $50 more.
Essentially you are paying about regular market price for the upgrades.
So you're paying $600 more for $450 in upgrades.

PSU is not modular, so not much expandability, and the motherboard dont have that many fan header.
and there is only extra SATA power cable because I only used m.2 ssd.
I hate the fact you cant control fan speed anywhere, even on the proprietary hp software,
the only way i think its possible is to add those fan controller with knob to manually adjust.

Frankly both systems are soon to be outdated, with new AMD CPUs and new RTX cards literally around the corner. If your goal is just to play modern games at 1440p medium and 1080p high quality settings at good frames, you should be happy with the 6600 XT system.
Component prices continue to trend down (in several categories, not just GPU's.) It would not be surprising for this or similar to be $1000 in 2 months time (whether it be pre-built or DIY.)
