Recently rewatched this again (although I am a physical media guy, so I was on 4k Blu ray). Really enjoyable movie. Demo worthy experience. And a cool piece of Hollywood history.

it's amazing how much better this was than the initial turd Whedon took over... i still think there's a good 45min that could be chopped out of this Snyder's Cut, but i didn't find even that stuff to drag.
it's a shame, i think the DC universe would be in a much better place if (an edited version) of this was released and not the original.

For me I feel like Whedon gets unfairly maligned for this, don't get me wrong, his version sucks, I'm not really here to defend it, but Snyder gets to come in with all this good will and make a 4 hour movie and get to indulge himself in every way to make pretty much the exact movie he wants with what I would imagine was minimal studio interference and everyone jumps on his bandwagon like this is the greatest piece of cinema ever made. It's really not. This movie is marginally better than the turd Whedon put out and it's laughably too long.

It just amazed me to watch how people were down on their knees ready to praise this movie, it's very average, again better than the Whedon version, but that's not saying much. But give a guy the ability to exact his creative vision, give him 4 hours and minimal interference from suits and I'm sure he comes out with something better than the Whedon cut.

Worth watching as a one off but doubtful I'd ever buy this especially not at $9.99 I'm sure it'll be $5 one day I'll catch it then...maybe.

No MCU movie is as good as any Nolan Batman movie and no DCEU beside Wonder Woman is as good as any MCU movie

I mostly agree but Winter Solider and Infinity War are comparable to the Dark Knight, and TDKR is disappointing, a lot of Marvel movies better than that. Batman Begins is great but not exceptional. A handful of Marvel movies better than this too

This is best watched as a miniseries. There's even 6 explicit chapter/episode title screens in this cut. It's 4 hours long and is really a lot better when broken up into 3 viewings (two chapters a night).

I agree with the comments expressing amazement at how much better this is than the theatrical version, especially considering that it's probably 75% the same movie that was shown in theaters. But I think that people are getting carried away calling this movie great. Most of the episodes of the Justice League cartoon from 20 years ago that have more interesting plots than this movie.
