I think it's a waste of $ to upgrade cartoon/anime movies to 4K. Blu Rays are just fine with me.

Have these actually been remastered and cleaned in anyway?

I picked up the dvd set of these at my local thrift store for 2 bucks to scratch my nostalgia itch, my kids could care less for these classics.

I ordered this set along with Holiday Inn. Great movies and shows that we watch yearly. Disappointed that this is only three movies in 4K, but The Little Drummer Boy will probably never be in 4K unless they find the original negatives/ or master. Cricket on the Hearth (eh) may stand a better chance. I don't see why they just didn't throw in the previous disc (blu-ray) of these movies. It will be interesting to see how well these shows translate to 4K. Hoping to see some improvement in details and colors. Just because it's animated doesn't mean it can't look better (the same goes for black and white movies).

We also need Rudolph's Shiny New Year, Jack Frost, The Year Without a Santa Claus, Rudolph & Frosty's Christmas in July, The Life and Adventures of Santa Claus. Jack Frost is one of my favorites. Release them all before WWIII starts, please.

This reminds me of them flipping the bright lights on at the bar at university at 3 A.M. when they want you to go home and those 9-10's all of a sudden turn into 3-4's.

There are just some things that don't need THAT much detail exposed.

I'ma stick with my VUDU HDX versions of these.

Yep. The amount of people who don't know this is kind of ridiculous. All it takes is a little thought. If you "could" care less, it means you care, and there's room to care less. If you "couldn't" care less, it means you care zero and you can't possibly care less than zero.
