Curious how these do over time. Might use one for an Air B&B.

Honest review here from someone who bought it in May for my daughter's 2nd. She loves it, and any kids that end up in our backyard gravitate immediately to it. Absolutely the downside is it takes forever to install. I'll give the instructions dap for being decent, but take whatever estimate you think it will take and triple it. I was slow and methodical with power tools and it took me 5 or 6 hours solo. The quality is surprisingly awesome. The website reviews have a lot of "missing pieces" reviews which gave me pause, but everything was there for me. Also they have a very clear packet on what to do of you are missing parts. I didnt have to do it, but seemed like they have a good system for it.

Also tons of reviews saying its a spider house. I have seen zero in mine after planning to shop vac it once a week, ive only had to do it once in 6 months and that was because of the pollen dump in June.

So, is it worth it? Awesome deal. Downside is time to completion especially if solo. Im pretty fit and there were parts with the roof i had to overhead press and I'd wager a lot of people couldnt do that part without help. Otherwise the rest is just balance. Oh the worst part is the plastic sink and gas burner inside. Put it all together outside then install that so you dont have to swear like a sailor on your back half inside the shed and half out

I would go with a lifetime or Rubbermaid shed, that way your guests aren't exposed to the elements. Some can even fit a queen size air mattress.

Looks like a pretty good buy.

The playhouses are apparently real wood. There aer a few bad 1-star reviews complaining of product arriving damaged, but I don't think thats a big surprise for something like this.

These kidkraft houses are nice quality In my experience. I've assembled 10 of them for Sam's club and target. They are real wood (cedar) and look really nice.

Reviews are mixed. Bad shipping delivery with damages or missing parts or screws.

The Country Vista model is in the free BILT app, which has 3D model instructions that are much clearer than a paper manual. I built the KidKraft Braewood model and it was very intuitive to use the app (though it took me twice as long than the notional time listed in the app to complete the build). Highly recommend the app for sanity and to reduce missteps : )

Have the 2nd one. Easy assembly, but pretty poor quality construction. Costco clears these out every fall, I paid $170 about 4 years ago. Roof has warped so bad from the elements it needs a full replacement. Otherwise decent quality for some kiddos or an open-air AirBnB

Get yourself a decent impact driver and you'll finish this in 4hrs. It's probably 200 screws

Great deal! Worth the $200. Put together in 5-6 hours- was a pain with all the screws but worth it.

Logged in to thumb this up. This summed up my experience exactly. It was an absolute pain to build, but my daughter loves it.

So I bought it the last time this went on sale... takes quite a bit of time to setup but my two daughters love it. I did add a floor with 3 2x4s running under so we can slide it around... also adds weight to the bottom incase of heavy winds.. and prevents the bottom of this from rotting early... which I'm not sure it would but did this to be on the safe side.
