thank you for this. what's weird is that I have not seen instructions on what to do with the trade in. I have some old and loose wired headsets around. Happy to send it to them to cover the trade-in discount.

Checked my email received seconds after placing the order and sure enough, here is the blurb. I'll chat with them to get the address to send it to:

"If you decide to not send the trade-in device, your trade-in will be automatically cancelled and Samsung will charge you for the trade-in discount issued during your purchase."

Worst case I'll send a junk wired, and if they complain I'll send the wireless.
