As a heavy duty gardener, I would not buy this version of a weeder. It does not even look like one! You want a forked end version with a long and thin handle.
The above will create large holes in your lawn. The other version I mentioned will allow you to make a small hole, go deep too where the root ends, and then lift out. If you do not get the roots, it will come back.
Friendly tip ✌️
A dandelion fork [amazon.com] works well for extracting individual weeds. If the soil is loose, or you just want to cut the weeds below the surface, something like a Cape Cod weeder [amazon.com] or Japanese nejiri kama [amazon.com] can be very effective.

Do you happen to have a recommendation you could provide a link to? Just moved into a house with lots of stubborn weeds.

I bought one of these from a previous Slickdeal too. I love it. The price is worth it now too.

I use this for planting, deep thin holes and general work. It's good for the price.

I prefer the shotgun weeder. I forget what it's called. It's like a pogo stick where you stomp the weed with metal teeth at the end, twist, lift, and shotgun it into the trash can. No need to bend over.

You must cut weeds a lot. I own all of these. My favorite has become the Carrot Design Cape Cod Weeder but any curved knife does the job. The longer handle helps with not extending my lower back so much.

With the blunted tip, this looks like a Fisher Price Hori Hori knife.
