For others, I've got an Insta360 One X2. It's great, but it's very different from a GoPro. The stitching is impressive, but imperfect. Great for capturing 360 videos for direct upload or for when you want to select the target and convert to a regular video. However, you'll get lens flare as the camera moves, and some artifacts around the edges of the lenses. So, if you want to shoot a video where you're focused on a single thing, a regular GoPro will give superior results.
For anyone curious about 8-bit vs 10-bit and what 10-bit can do for your final product, BH Photo Video made a good explanation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WNy24_X
Just checked and I do have this Amex offer, and with its forward-facing screen, I may jump on this. Need to first see some reviews about the overheating issue that seems to plague these later models, though.

Youtube comparison shows GOPRO11 have better color and Stabilizer but weaker dark-night performance.

I have been looking at the X3 (rationale being I could use it for real estate virtual tours) and the DJI Action 3. Any reason to give GoPro another chance? I'd like to see how good the stills it produces are. I've never used an action cam for photos because the quality is so poor, but if they upped the sensor game, I would like that flexibility.
Maybe I'll just wait for BF and hope one comes down to $300.
