Just put it together and it does NOT include the tools.

Also, just built the $98 Walmart Decathlon bike and that does include the tools!

Thanks/

A set of metric Allen keys should be enough I think - at least for the basic install.

If any parts have issues (both of my brake rotors needed truing), you'll need add'l tools.

Most bikes in a box require you to attach the handlebars to the stem with Allen keys. The seat is usually mounted to a post that cinches into the frame with a hand tensioned clamp. The front wheel and pedals require an open ended wrench. That's usually all there is.

The toolkit that came with the Decathlon works for the Axum. Just put them both together today.

Wish they had smaller sizes of the Axum for the same price, it looks like a pretty solid bike.

The Dropper Post version is available in a medium, but your looking at $500. And there are much better bikes on sale for $500

This is a crazy good deal for the $$ if you are a taller person and want an entry level bike that can actually handle some trails. My son has the Axum DP Medium, and I've ridden it on intermediate trails without issue (we are both about 5'9" and the large frame would have been too big for either of us). Definitely recommend better pedals though (we bought some from Amazon for around $20 and they made a world of difference in keeping feet in place over bumps/jumps). If you're the right size, this bike is better than just about any other bike under $350. Plus, it's super upgradeable. Already has 1x drivetrain with cassette plus a tapered steerer tube.

Finally, Pacific Cycle (the manufacturer of these box store Schwinn and Mongoose bikes) has very good support in my opinion. I've had to contact them a few times for various issues. The dropper cable was broken when we received the Axum DP. Freehub went bad on my Ledge X1 (the trails we ride are pretty rough in places), pawls seized up on the Axum DP cassette (probably could have opened the hub and fixed it myself), and they've always been quick to respond and send replacement parts or offer to reimburse for repair (if they didn't have the part available) etc.

I got mine yesterday and it looks sexy tbh. My last bike is/was Wally Mongoose that's too old and too small for my body built.

I assembled but something about front disc brake, wheel is not free moving.

I am almost thinking to fork $90 to go to a local bike shop and get it assembled right.

It's not a bad bike for the money, but expect to do some upgrades to it.

Both, I got the medium sized Decathlon for my daughter and the Axum for my son (but I would be able to steal it when my hybrid isn't suited for the job).
