I was honestly kind of taken aback.
The comments here, on Reddit, and on the YouTube reviews I read all seemed to indicate that this is a very good price for a bike like this. Was it just sour grapes from the bike shop guy for not buying the $500 entry-level bike from his shop?
It's got me feeling a little down right now, honestly. I'm not sorry I got it, but I was surprised how that dampened my mood in a hot second.
measure the ACTUAL Seat Tube.
"center of fork stem to center of seat tube" is NOT effective tube, Your measuring the ACTUAL seat tube, that is going to be shorter. The bike is a large. Unless you extended the seat and measured a LEVEL line from the top of the head tube. Too easy to mess up the measurement, just measure the seat tube. FYI My 5 foot 7 inch kid needs another inch or 2 to even get on it without leaning it over. It's a big bike, just like my large Cannondale.
There is no way he received a medium frame, unless he ordered Axum DP in red. Every other option of this bike is a LARGE.
I've been wanting a bike and decided that this has enough good reviews to finally jump on it, especially at this price. Just want to ride around my neighborhood for some cardio.

If I damaged the rotors while riding on the trail then I would happily spend money fixing it (or do it myself), but I didn't even ride it.
Why would it be ridiculous to return a brand new product that was damaged?
