There are now two tax websites that use Paypal - payUSAtax and ACI Payments. Their commission is ~2%, so if you pay $1500, you'll net $45 per card ($1500 X .05 - ~$30 fee).
Why is this on frontpage when it ended days ago?

Do these rotating categories stack with the 5% cash back welcome bonuses?
I got the recent 5% cash back on groceries for welcome bonus and was wondering if it will stack with the 5% back on groceries rotating category when that comes around next year.
Yes, those two promos will combine. I believe you will get a total of 9% back.
Can I send a friend $1500 via Paypal? They charge 2.9% few but I'd still make 2.1%?
With the IRS $600/year 1099K filing requirement, delayed last min for 2022 tax year but probably sticking for the 2023 tax year, you'd also have to go out of your way to prove that $1500 wasn't side gig / business income.

That is so dumb. So in 2023 we have to report Venmo transactions? What if your friends pay each other over $600 worth this year from splitting restaurant tabs and stuff?

Don't think for Venmo or Cash App (basically any "friends and family" payments are not included), and not for Paypal "Friends and family". But previous poster talked about Paypal where they charge 2.9% to accept a CC payment, and in that case those transactions may be included by Paypal?
