Haha yeah some cut scenes and audio were pretty bad but didn't bother me. I found it amusing.
Showing 17.79 on CDKeys now. Looks like they've increased their price.
Sucks because I really wanted to like it and it does seem like I would love the game's story and gameplay. I just can't get past how awful the controls and movement felt.
CDKeys.com has lowered it back down to $12.59.

This 100%
Initially, you're completely overwhelmed by the zombie hordes that you run across. By the end of the game, with a leveled-up character and a better understanding of their behavior, you're confidently strolling up to their dens to slaughter them.
The controls are generally good, but yeah, they're probably a bit clunky if you're used to high-performance first-person shooters. It's pretty much on par with any console-oriented game I've played, like GTA.
The worst thing about it, in my opinion, is that they made the zombies too smart. It's my understanding that they modified their behavior after initial release. So, they have some really great map designs that you can theoretically use to manipulate the zombies into bunching up for easy kills, but now if you try that, half the horde will just go around and kill you from the other side. Reduces everything to "run backwards and mow them down with a machine gun, then ride away and come back later".
Edit: oh, and the human enemies are astonishingly dumb. Like, you can be walking around right in front of them, but they won't see you until you trip some really specific game logic. When they come after you, it's comical how long they sort of jog in place and can't see you. The zombie hordes are *way* smarter and more perceptive than the human enemies.

I avoided hordes until I couldn't anymore. Like 22 hours into the game I took my first one out. It felt great.

No. I wish. Which is weird because I think they're making a movie. I seen there was some backlash because the Deacon actor in the game isn't in the running to play the lead. This is one of the few games I still play even after I finish. Just to be in the world. Bought it for PS and PC which is rare for me.
