About this game

Grab your motorcycle and prepare to survive in an unforgiving post-apocalyptic world with your Days Gone Steam PC key. In this open-world action-adventure game, you'll enter a harsh wilderness two years after a devastating global pandemic.

Step into the dirt flecked shoes of former outlaw biker Deacon St. John, an army veteran turned bounty hunter trying to find a reason to live in a land surrounded by death. Scavenge through abandoned settlements for equipment to craft valuable items and weapons, or take your chances with other survivors trying to eke out a living through fair trade… or more violent means.

A DANGEROUS, BUT BEAUTIFUL WORLD
From forests and meadows to snowy plains and desert lava fields, the Pacific Northwest is both beautiful and lethal. Explore a variety of mountains, caves, mines, and small rural towns, scarred by millions of years of volcanic activity.

FEAR THE LIVING AND THE DEAD
With vicious gangs and hordes of Freakers roaming the land, you'll need to make full use of a variety of customizable traps, weapons, and upgradable skills to stay alive. Don't forget your Drifter bike, an invaluable tool in a vast land.

EVER-CHANGING ENVIRONMENT
Jump on the saddle of Deacon's trusty motorbike and explore a dynamic world dramatically affected by the weather, a dramatic day/night cycle, and the evolving Freakers, who adjust to their surroundings - and the people in it.

COMPELLING STORY
Lose yourself in a powerful tale of desperation, betrayal, and regret. Witness Deacon St. John's struggles first hand as he searches for hope after suffering a deep, personal loss. What makes us human when faced with the daily struggle for survival?

YOUR DAYS GONE STEAM PC KEY INCLUDES:

The PS4-exclusive game - now on PC!
Deadly, stunning open-world to explore by foot motorcycle.

Personally I liked it a lot and it was the first game I decided to 100%. The horde concept is a blast!

For those interested, there's a petition to try and get Sony to do a sequel:

One of the best apocalypse games out there. I finished the whole game but the zombie rage mode is just too hard for me, if you haven't played it before, I recommend it.

Game is meh. I got it for "free" on PS and I gave up after about 15 or so hours. Super duper repetitive. If you want Far Cry or Just Cause type of open world, with zombies and jump scares, there you go. The Last Of Us, it is not. You'll spend more time looking for gas and fixing your motorcycle than anything else (at least as far as I got, apparently there are bike upgrades later)

But to be honest open world games aren't my bag (except for Ghost Of Tsushima which was excellent). Some people love to scour every inch of the map for crafting materials.... I am not one of them.
I was close to buying this for PC a few months ago. It looked good, but like you, zombie games just don't really appeal to me, nor do fighting hordes of them; That's why I quick playing Left4Dead back in the day.

Instead, I picked up Red Dead Redemption 2 , and even though I was pessimistic that I'd enjoy it (it seems slow paced in all the video/play-throughs I watched), I find it both fun, and strangely relaxing. It's surely not BF or Titanfall2, but it scratches and open-world itch and I keep finding myself amazed at the wildlife behavior and the fact that nothing is repetitive.

I also enjoy hunting in real life, so even though it wasn't a goal when I picked up the game, it satisfies that itch as well.

I loved this game SO MUCH. So much so, that I almost don't want a sequel. Everything has to be so woke anymore that creativity is ruined, and I really don't want to see that happen to this franchise. The last of us two was such a critical success (I hated it) that I'm afraid they will follow in it's footsteps.

Quote from Dajefe70 :
So ludicrous, I would buy a sequel on launch day for full price.
Quote from Ron1984 :
At the moment no. No one at Sony wants to throw money at it.
Quote from ClearanceOrFree :
Great game! I wish there would be a Days Gone 2.

Excellent game, I hope sony changes their mind and makes a sequel.
Quote from mandarin :
I enjoyed this game. Are they making a new one?

Best game ever, period. Having played all Skyrims, last of us, far cry, just cause, god f wars, GTAs, rdr, witchers, elden, ac, go ts … no game comes close to how well the story, gameplay, music, environments are intertwined. List of Pros is too long & I couldn't think of a single negative, atleast on ps4. Went into it w 0 expectations as a side game & turned out to be the only game i have played more than once…i would pay 150 to play a sequel for this game.. too bad they ain't making one.

I'd say this is as good as RDR2. Very similar except many enemies are zombies instead of humans. It's the first zombie game that I've ever played but I play mostly open world games. For this price, I'd suggest trying it out.

I'm interested in RDR2 bc it looks beautiful, I just don't know that I have 100+ hours to sink into a game like that. But all the vids I have seen it looks awesome. I'll probably bite on that some day if it gets to like $10-15

I tried to play this game a couple times and just couldn't get into it. The fact that you can snipe an enemy from cover from 100 yards and every enemy within an entire camp now knows your pinpoint position is just asinine to me.

RDR2 is a beautiful game, but it's like real life, it ACTUALLY takes literal minutes to travel a mile. Every drawer you open you take literal seconds to pick stuff up from. It is INCREDIBLY slow. I think the developers did this to make it more real, but it was like walking through 3 feet of mud to get anywhere. I still haven't finished it.

Same here. I put 10-12 hours in and just couldn't push myself any further. I love attention to detail and Rockstar is the king of that but damn it's such a slow game. Maybe I'll revisit it again one day.

I also loved this game. it had some seriously but cut scenes and audio mixing and voice acting sometimes but if you can look past that the game was amazing.
