This is also not a $400 MSRP bike by any stretch of imagination, this is a $120-150 bike, or at least it was pre-pandemic.
Good value for riding around the neighborhood or gifting to a wife or a kid that won't try crazy shit on it.

Aside from that, the brakes were super tight and rubbed while riding. I brought it to our small local bike shop. The owner fixed the brakes real quick and did a once over to make sure it was good to go. $17 later and it's good to go. Son was riding around. It's still a little big for him, but he can grow into it now.
I'm pretty impressed for $100! The frame seems quality even if most of the components are very budget. Those can be upgraded over time as they get worn out.
I think this is probably the 2nd best deal on a MTB we've seen since the pandemic - beaten only by the $125/138 Framed Rendal deal from a couple of months ago.
Congrats on those who git this in their size. Looks like only S left in my area as well.
Thanks OP!

I do want to buy a kickstand - so I know some people earlier in the thread said they were going to get one - did you find one that worked well? Also, I agree about the seat - has anybody found one they really liked?
I did have a question - on one of the forks, there are machined screw holes - does anybody know what these are for?
Steps:
Loosen the quick release seat post clamp on the frame
Pull out the entire post with seat attached.
Lay it upside down, look under the seat to see the 6mm hex bolt.
Loosen and move the reflector out of the way, if necessary to access the 6mm bolt.
Loosen the 6mm bolt that holds the clamp that then clamps the seat rails.
Once the bolt is loose, you should be able to shimmy the seat rails out from the clamp and remove the entire seat from the post.
Slide in your new seat and and adjust the position of the seat to your liking.
Tighten the 6mm clamp bolt.
Adjust the reflector and reinstall your seat post with the new seat.
Tighten the quick release and ride.
Hope that helps
