Do you spray the bifenthrin via sprayer on lawn and bushes or use propane fogger or what is method you recommend? In North Texas I raged war on these killers only reduced number but eliminate them... Used propane fogger but still not enough
I spray to coat and really get inside the plants and ground, anywhere water may collect. I avoid the tops of flowers for the bees and butterflies and they are still thriving so it's not affecting them.

I bought one of those pressure pumps from Lowes for $8

Save yourself the money and the weird citrus smell. Buy a backpack sprayer and a gallon of Bifen XT or Talstar (either can be had in the $60 range) and spray your yard (lawn and landscaping) 1x per month from April or May through September and you will barely see any flying insects including mosquitoes. One ounce of Bifenthrin makes 1 gallon of spray. Each gallon treats 1,000 sqft so unless you have a huge yard you will only need a few ounces per application.
Is that stuff safe for dogs after it dries? I'm about ready to try anything with how bad the mosquitos have been this year.

Wondering this too. I think Talstar says it's safe for pets as long as it dries before they are in the area? But wondering if anyone has more knowledge

Check your local Walmart. Saw these at 3 different local Walmarts in the same week for $10, $7, and $3. Price is different store-to-store. But for $8 with free pickup it's still a good price.

Stuff works for me. But then again we used two, mini tabletop torches and we're sitting pretty close to them.

One night we were getting tons of bites. Next day we tried this stuff and didn't get a single new bite. But maybe it differs based off winds, types of mosquito, etc

Several reputable online resources state that bats are not particularly effective in controlling mosquitos. I wish they were.

And people wonder why the bee populations, and massive bird die offs happen.

I use three torches in a triangular shape around me and it worked pretty well in Georgia where we have lots of mosquitos.
