Have this set (did) Purchased about 3 years ago. Very durable. Chairs are lasting forever, table not so much ... In it's defense though, it got nailed by a 4000lb tree limb last year, glass didn't even break, legs broke instead.
Can't comment on the umbrella, we rarely used it, gets far too windy here in summer to leave it out.

Have this set (did) Purchased about 3 years ago. Very durable. Chairs are lasting forever, table not so much ... In it's defense though, it got nailed by a 4000lb tree limb last year, glass didn't even break, legs broke instead.
Can't comment on the umbrella, we rarely used it, gets far too windy here in summer to leave it out.

Mine is mostly the same and it's been lightly used. Color will fade slightly. Umbrella is meh at best. I dislike the opening/closing. And does not provide much shade. Overall everything is pretty strong. My chairs have fallen to strong winds but survive just fine. Never tested the umbrella under windy conditions, so can't say how strong they are….

Seems like it would be fine since the table holds it in place. If someone was concerned, they could just bury the base a few inches into the ground.

Bought a set that looks exactly like this from target a few months ago. So far it's been great for the cheap price. It even came with a bend in one of the umbrella arms and hasn't been a problem.

Keep in mind though that you have to buy the umbrella base separately, which can be another $40-$100 depending on its weight and material...

Thanks for this response, honestly thinking of buying it just for the chairs so we have easier seating in the driveway for when we have people over.

Seeing most folding chairs going for $50+ and unsure of actual quality is hard to bite the bullet

We bought this last year - cheaped out and didn't buy an umbrella base - insteadjerry rigged a weight - when we were out of town a wind gust picked up the umbrella and knocked it on the glass shattering it. Looked all around for a better option and ended up buying the same set again so we now have 8 chairs and one table! Long story short can't be beat for the price for occasional use. Chairs are large enough but tend to fold up when moving around in them but again can't beat the deal

PS - smartened up and bought a $18 base to go with it and filling it with $5 river pebbles

Did you pick it up? I'm thinking the same, don't want the table but ~$20 a chair isn't bad if they hold up.

My neighbor moves his set in the house. I have a table twice the size and leave it outside and it's holding up okay for 10+ years, did paint it once.

Order this set few months ago, chairs started rusting after one rainfall. Returned and replaced with new set. Same rusting happened with the chairs. Returned and got better quality set from Home Depot.

Bought a similar set from a local Target store for $49.99 yesterday. I'm 99% sure these two sets are identical. It was priced $99 in the store but the in-store scanner showed $49.99, and that's what I paid at the checkout. YMMV.
