Why did Gigabyte make such a huge cooler with 3 fans for such a power efficient, low heat card? The RX6600 card draws around 120 watts max. Even a single fan (like the old EVGA 1060s) would've been sufficient to cool this card. Even if this card was an OCed model, 2 fans would've been more than enough.

It was probably more cost effective from a manufacturing and producing standpoint to build one cooler that suits multiple cards.

Right? Gigabyte even made a 3 fan model for the RX 6500 XT which makes even less sense!
Very good card. I paid just over $400 a year ago when these were going for almost $600 so at the time I got a "deal"..... No regrets though,,... Excellent 1080p performer and VERY quiet, probably due to way over-engineered cooler....
