The only problem with these is there is NO support for the seat. It attaches to the gunnels but since it's inflatable, when you lean back it just pulls the gunnels in. You can lay all the way back to a reclining position. So it's a great ab/core workout but not what I wanted.
Actually a good product. Used this as my first kayak. Then upgraded to a hard body fishing kayak once I realized how much I liked it. Nice thing is I made money off the original purchase! Buy this if you're new to kayaking. Try it out for the month, sell if you don't like. If you do, use it til you're ready to upgrade. It's a good deal.
I love mine. Makes getting out on the water so accessible.

Nice to see some things coming back to reality. Never understood the sheeple who just pay the "Need it Now" price. Even if you have the $$$ it's just poor economic form.
Some people would like to get enjoyment out of an item right away. You would delay the use of the item you possibly need or really want. Maybe this is a short period but it could be rather lengthy as well.

There's always a balance but remember, life is short. Plus, I'm sure the reason these are discounted somewhat is because the "season" for this is ending and you won't get much use until next spring/summer. They want to clear them out.

I've only used it in a lake setting, but the vinyl is quite thick. I've had our little 14 pound dog (with very long nails) standing on it and it held up just fine.

I agree with this. You better get situated in it correctly the first time, because once you're in it, there's no way to shift your position using your arms as leverage because you end up just pushing the gunnels down into the water and flooding the kayak.

It doesn't do well with punctures or rocks

I second this. It's very uncomfotable to be in a crunch position for any amount of time on this. I'm all about a core workout but couldn't take more than 15 minutes on this.

I have the excursion pro and it's decent for the $200 it currently is…looks like all their models are on sale. I've had to patch it a few times and the seats are not great but it works if you don't have the space or transport for a rigid kayak. I suspect storing it over time leads to creases that pop as well. Vinyl glue or epoxy works well with patches. I've even used roofing sealant and it's solved the leaks.

Don't buy it. Destroy your back in minutes. I owned 2 od these and sold them. Step further into SIB and then RIB and now a bayboat. I would rather stay inshore rather than take this kayak even it's only 10kg which is extremly portable. Your back! And you can't switch position at all. It's so soft that like a inflatable mattress. You can't even sit up nor stand!

I'm 5'10" 190 so I fit a lot better with the inflatable seat completely removed. Wouldn't mind a bit of back support beyond what the body of the kayak provides but it's fine. I can do 3" hour trips comfortably.

I've had one of these for years, bounced it off all kinds of rocks etc. Never any issues. Amazing value.

I'm 5'9 and 180 and I don't know what these people are talking about it hurting your back etc. maybe they are bigger than me.

I used these on Ladybird lake all through 2021 until the seams ripped from the heat and overpumping. At $69 when I bought, they were an insane deal. I just bought 4 more, it was my fastest purchase on Amazon ever I literally laughed out loud it was like 10-12 seconds from when I saw the deal until when my order was confirmed.
