Montegrappa was a well known luxury pen brand. They had a history for making fantastic nibs with silver or gold bodies which were cast. The ink feeds in their pens had a long history of having issues. It was pretty common for them to require ink feed service out of the box.
*disclaimer.. I have the montegrappa silver with the side deco. I LOVE the nib. I like the ink feed post service. It is heavy... really heavy...
Montegrappa was acquired by a luxury brand Richemont group in 2000. At this point quality took a nose dive (in my opinion). By in large they have moved to making expensive pens with iffy nibs, ink feeds and plastic bodies. (And no montblanc is not a very good pen..)

Tibaldi was a less known pen maker which was acquired by Montegrappa in 2004. Prior to their acquisition, I think tibalid made much better pens.
For this pen: You have a decent discount but the pen itself is just okay.
1) steel nib at 100$ or more retail is not a good deal. At 50$ it is okay i guess but nothing impressive. Honestly, you can probably do as well with a pilot pen.
2) ink feed is a no name house. It is probably a random ink feed from china. Nothing impressive.
3) The description suggests it is a brass barrel. At one point this was a given in a 50-100$ pen but at this point it is pretty rare.
IF you want a brass barrel, steel nib pen and don't want to just buy a pilot metropolitan then it should be fine.
Personally, i would suggest going cheaper with the pilot or going more expensive (pilot or platinum) to get a gold nib.
