The capacity on this unit is too small.
People that wants to run an AC in a van have multiple 100ah lifepo4 batteries in their van.
Lets say you have 4 of those batteries hooked up, That 1280w x 4 = around 4000wh.
Even at 4000wh, running the smallest AC unit will only get you 8hr max.

$80 more for 60% more power seems like a better deal

Costco Delta Max is the original, does not have the newer tech. The main differences I can tell are:
Original has 2 USB C ports at 60W max, Delta 2 has the USB C at 100 Max
Original has 800+ charge cycles to 80%, Delta 2 has 3000+ charge cycles to 80%
Original takes 96 min to charge to full, Delta 2 80 min to charge to full
Original has 24 mo warranty, Delta 2 has 60 mo warranty
As always, products depend on your individual use. I am only using for emergency use so the costco deal is a better value because of the higher capacity. But if you're a road warrior and constantly using / draining / charging the power station, the Delta 2 has almost 4 times the charge cycles. One last thing to consider, Costco's return policy - 90 days
