How to Stack TF's Verizon SIM
- Adding the additional data (3GB), minutes (1,200), and text (1,200) on the new TF Verizon SIM to an existing TF Verizon account (number).
- First, you would need the IMEI of an unlocked Verizon-compatible phone (You do not necessarily need the physical phone).
Turn off your current phone and replace the old SIM card with the new TF Verizon SIM card.
Go to TF's website (https://www.tracfone.co
Choose . Accept => .
Do you have a Tracfone SIM card? Under , enter the ICCID of the new TF Verizon SIM card, and click .
Please enter phone's IMEI or MEID => enter the IMEI of an unlocked Verizon-compatible phone, and click .
Is your device currently active with another carrier? Click .
Do you want to keep your current phone number? Click , and select the number you want to keep from the dropdown box, and click .
If everything goes through properly, you should see the message: "Your request has been submitted. Your phone number transfer may take from a few hours to up to two business days to complete." Click
Again, if everything went through properly, you should see the message: "SUCCESS! Thank you for your business!" The service end date would show additional year added.
You can now turn on your phone.
Wait for a couple of hours or overnight, and check your account. The additional data (3GB), minutes (1,200), and text (1,200) should already have been added to your account.
Now you can put away your old SIM card
Edit : it looks like TCL phone has a sim card tray behind the battery. So I would take it out of the phone first (don't power it in case it gets activated) and follow the procedure above to extend a year of service.

sometimes I don't activate the SIM until several months later and haven't had a problem yet. the longest was 10 months after purchase.
About as useful as changing your number with a regular carrier.
Got one of these for Craigslist listings - I only had a person re-text me months later ONCE and it was a really dumb question.
--- There are also places that, when traveling, it's smarter to not bring your phone with all of your data on it.
First got cart till before completing checkout (as guest & without coupon).
Then I went to CapitalOne Shopping page and search for "Tracfone TCL FLIP 2".
Then clicked on "TracFone My Flip 2 4G LTE" item listed, followed by clicking a "View on eBay" button.
Then proceed to check out by going to the cart already on the CapitalOne-triggered page.

I'm honestly surprised that it hasn't been replaced by a better swap-meet kinda app. Stuff piles up for me to sell because it's such a hassle.
That's a pain because with SD, I'm always upgrading SOMETHING.

1. Activate the 1st phone, create an new account, register for TracFone reward, put a top tier code for an instant 8000 points to my account.
2. Activate the 2nd phone on add a line program to the 1st phone.
3. Wait 60 days to unlock both phones, and to receive 10000 points from add a line.
4. Transfer/combine the remaining minute/text/data of the 2nd phone to the 1st phone through web chat.
5. The 1st phone now will have 600 days of service. Throw away the useless 2nd phone, or sell it if there is someone wants to buy.
And, if I find a cheap TracFone/unlocked smartphone, can I transfer my 1st number to that smartphone?
