Yeah....t-mobile deals not as good as last year.

So, my calculation for two phone 14s this year is:
Phone 1 = $719.99
Phone 2 = $719.99
Taxes $86.40 (6% sales tax)
Total = $1,526.38
Rebate = $630
Total = $896.38

If you assume 3 months of $20 per line plans ($180 total), your total out out pocket for two unlocked iphone 14 is $1076.38 (or $538.19 each).

It's funny that Costco only accept Visa card but the rebate is Master card

few questions

1. in Costroc Ad, it says "After rebate with Virtual Prepaid Mastercard when you activate a new line of service", then could I buy 2 phones with only one new line, or have to be 1 phone + 1 new line?

2. could we chose any of t-mobile plan, or have to be magenta or magenta max?

3. for BOGO, could we choose 2 different phones or have to same type?

Thanks~
This is how it was in the past and I doubt it's different.

1. 1 phone per line.
3. Could be different phones but the rebate would be the same

Good luck on getting a 14 pro. Apparently tons of ppl want it due to it being the only model with the new processor chip.
They didn't anticipate that apparently
They did. They estimated that 85% of sales will go to pro models, but they are trying to sell the non-pro ones first.

Me and wifey are currently on Mint mobile. We would like to keep our numbers.
We value unlocked phones because of the ease of the move and would like to keep our plan relatively cheap (currently on the yearly 180 Mint plan)

What is the slickest way to get the new iPhone 14 phones either thorough Costco deal or directly through TMobile ?

Tyvm !

Yes they have BYOD
So with BYOD I can bring in an old phone and open a line, add a second line for the first iPhone and get a free third line for the second iPhone then get $300 + $630 back in rebates? $629+$629+$360 for 4 months service = $1618-$630-$300= $688 for two iPhone 13s? Or could you add the second iPhone as another byod device and get a second $300? Making it $388 for two iPhone 13s?

I am currently on a grandfathered simple choice plan and need to add a line in the near future. Would I be eligible for this? If so, would the new line be simple choice, or would it be one of the currently available plans?

Thanks for any input.

Port in to the cheapest T-Mobile plan at the Costco kiosk. Pester T-Mobile to unlock the phones before you have to pay the 2nd month of service. Then jump ship as soon as they are unlocked

Unlocking isn't sufficient to jump ship. They can cancel the rebate form which you filled in before they send card out. So wait for that, unlock and then move

Does this mean we will also loose the unused value of our Mint yearly plans or is there a way to get that back from mint at the time of porting. We still have roughly 4-6 months left on each.

This is bull crap. They lure you to come to the warehouse, leave with a couple of hundred dollars in groceries and no iPhone since it's out of stock. They did that last year too. I am not bothering ever again with those deals

Typically when you port a number out from a carrier the account is cancelled. You would lose any remaining months on the account.

You can always do this deal and get new numbers from t-mobile. Keep both accounts active until rebate received.
