That is a pure gaming laptop whereas this is a Content creator laptop. The Display may be 4K AMOLED but it is just 60 Hz, compared to 165Hz in Legion. Similarly, the GPU is 130W vs 150W in Legion 5 Pro and it does not have any MUX Switch for Adaptive Sync tech.

This is one of the best windows laptops for that due to the screen quality and fast 14 core i7, especially with price considered.

Also to people complaining about 60hz for gaming, its a 4k panel, at high settings the 3070 Ti will just do like 60 FPS, the 60hz panel isnt holding you back, no mobile GPU can do 4k high refresh rate.

Check any reviews of the Gigabyte Aorus 5 2022 laptop and you will get a very good idea. This model has exact same internal design but instead of using high refresh rate IPS gaming panels, this one has the 4K OLED panel. Below is one for you.

The rebate card doesn't seem to exist when following the instructions at the second link.

This price seems wild. I got the legion 5 for 1500 a few weeks back. Worth returning?

Can't find the screen's refresh rate on newegg. If this is limited to 60hz, that matters. 4k oled is nice and all

well for static image stock charts.. i'd say 1hz is ok for you.. a static image. As for moving charts with a trading platform.. 60hz is 500% ok.. 165hz isn't going to matter, 240hz is not going to matter. To be honest.. there is a lot of hz - snobs on here that think a few FPS is going to make them super good at FPS competitive shooters.

I will tell you now.. this is not the case, they will be just as bad, and get owned by 12yr olds using old 'puters. Just do you.. I suggest that people using the actual screen and not plugging into a larger display.. will 10000% appreciate an AMOLED display over some punkish LCD.

I'd say.. not a bad price for this hardware. You do you. Applause
