That's because you have to put it in your cart now, and check out on 9/20 after 8PM (see bold type in my original post). This is the same deal basically (put in your cart, then check out a couple of days later) that they've had on and off for the last three years or so, I've collected several flashlights from them by just paying the shipping charge.

Yes, exactly. I'm not sure why they do this, but you have to have the free item in your cart already when the time comes to check out in a couple of days. That said, I've never had any issues checking out and getting the free item, I'm not crazy about the shipping charge, but I just look at it like I'm paying that for the flashlight and the shipping is free Smilie -- makes me feel better.

You're welcome. This is the first deal I've posted in at least a couple of years. I do like these flashlights, I've given one to everyone in my family, they're light, reliable and cheap (free). Hard to see the downside to this deal. I think they're worth at least the price of shipping. Cool

I checked the site and there's one already in my cart, and I apparently can get it tomorrow (Sunday) at 8pm. But it's the grey rechargeable one, I'd rather have the AAA light since I have a butt ton of batteries and those tiny rechargeables are a pain.
$5 plus tax, probably won't even bother getting it.
