Deal Details
EVGA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti FTW3 ULTRA GAMING 729

Lots of other models and other 30x series discounted.

Advertised B stock which indicates open box and factory certified - 1 year warranty.

Mine delivered in a few days and, as expected is amazing and in perfect condition. For those not wanting to wait for deeper discounts, this is a great card and no other current deals at this price for a 3080 ti. I have previously bought multiple b stock video cards from various manufacturers and I have never been disappointed.

Hope this helps someone looking for a deal like this.

Just keep in mind that EVGA is ending sales of video cards going forward, after they finish selling off their existing stock.

I forgot to include that, thanks. They are reporting keeping stock for warranty etc.

To clear up understanding for those who don't know, EVGA just announced today (kind of - it was "leaked") that they were stopping making GPU's because they hate NVIDIA with a passion (in my words haha). Though they said they'll be keeping cards as backup GPU's for RMA's, we don't know what will happen if they run out yet. https://www.theverge.com/2022/9/1...ops-making

EVGA will have to turn into Corsair to survive. I have had EVGA GPUs for several generations but I'm not so sure about buying one KNOWING they are done. VGA is literally 75% of their company name and they will try to survive without VGA. Good luck (I hope they do).

I'm sure they have a plan. You don't drop a multimillion Dollar deal on a whim or out of anger. i wouldn't be surprised if we see EVGA and AMD announce something.

Might want to keep in mind that these are highly likely to be former mining cards that have run for years on end, even if they've been refurbished with new heatsinks and enclosures and look new.
Although, if you google the part numbers and look at the specs, some of the cards are LHR and would be much less likely to have been used for long-term mining.

A prediction: ending sales of video cards until their exclusive contract with nvidia expires and they can produce AMD cards

LHR was overcome effectively enough to make the cards very profitable, the mining software updated regularly to make LHR less and less effective

Wasn't it only August of 2021 when LHR limiter was by-passed? Surely the LHR cards weren't desirable for mining prior to August of 2021. If you find a used LHR card, hopefully it's only had 1 year of mining vs. possibly 2 on standard cards/

After Ethereum merge and crypto winter, I'm expecting more price drops this winter.

PC business and laptop revenues are down YTD.

Same here I've been exclusively EVGA for my last 5 cards due to the great warranty. I'm actually bummed out they are dropping Nvidia.

I was tempted to grab a high end 30xx card from them since the prices are dropping so quickly but I'm not going to be in warranty limbo down the road. Also, resale value in the future to fund the card after will be much harder. I already have a 2080 ti that may be hard to sell. I'm into it for very little though, I had an EVGA 1080 fail under warranty, they replaced it with a 1080 ti that also failed, they replaced that with the 2080 ti I currently have. All the warranty replacements were no cost to me, paid for a 1080 and ended up with a 2080 ti. I did pay for it in man hours and emails, it was an arduous journey.

EVGA is actually selling these cards at huge losses, according to them. Once the stock runs dry, these "deals" will not be so common, I guess.

yeah. Tempted to buy just to help them get rid of stock, but I'm not fond of picking up a used card where it was used for mining. I hope they pull it together and not go out of business. I love their power supplies, but I don't see them supporting themselves by just selling power supplies.
