I'm tempted to buy this, fill it with lead fishing weights, stick a "gold and jewelry" label on the door, and epoxy it shut so the the lock can't be bypassed and burglars will waste their time on it

Gun size is not dependent on caliber size. You can buy a large frame 9mm or a small frame .45

It's cute and small, would recommend drilling it to a wall your comfortable with to a stud at least, super easy to pick up and run with. Yet, small enough to hide it too! Great for any precious documents and materials. The back and sides could easily be cut if you had a angle grinder to it, but securing it to a wall will make it difficult. Don't think it's fire proof either. Finger reader is actually fast and accurate, overall it's a nice little safe, considering the size, it's probably best to put it in a hiding spot to double up the difficulty finding it first, then breaking in.
