I just noticed that, too, so I just bought four of these to get the free shipping. Per the documentation below, I guess there are items that are not covered under the Red Card Free Shipping.

These are great I had to call around to four stores last week to find one in stock. Kids went absolutely bonkers though.

If you want to let kids be "rougher" with these, I would consider the foam ones they sell on amazon. These plastic ones can't take more than light tapping but the foam ones have a sturdy plastic core

The shield is so flimsy it's only good for on a wall

The sword is painted with two different color palettes it's iconic and noticable though
