To be clear, you can use a AA or AAA in it for either convenience or to attain a certain weight. I'll say, the included lithium battery has lasted for dozens and dozens of hours of use. And with how cheap rechargeable AA and AAA are, I'd say it's not a huge deal. I own a Logitech MX3 that's rechargeable and it's nice, but both replaceable and internal batteries are fine for a mouse I'd say.

As above, I have a MX3 with the magnetic wheel and it's great for work on large documents and excel, but for games or general browsing, I'd prefer a non-infinite scroll with more definition. To each their own, but both have a place.

Overall this is a great mouse I got it on sale a few months ago. It's a bit small for a sausage finger, ham fisted dude like me, but it's serviceable for light gaming and browsing the slickdeals. The lithium AA energizer battery it comes with has lasted those few months with at least 3-4 days a week use. Some long gaming sessions and some light browsing for useless shopping days.

If it were the same price, I'd get the Logitech G604. I went to see the Razer Orochi V2 today at Best Buy. It felt cheap (compared to my MX3). The Razer doesn't allow the scroll wheel to step or free-wheel through.

I have this mouse and it's great for gaming (casual and competitive(only for fingertip grip)) and as a laptop travel mouse. Really light mouse.

G604 has programmable extra thumb buttons. I had it for a day but didn't like how it aggravated my carpal tunnel. I'm sensitive to hard clicking. I wanted a mouse with extra buttons. The G604 fit the bill but the extra button we're only functional using their software. I ended up sticking with my cheapy ergo Jellycomb mouse and remapping the buttons for multiple functions using x mouse button control.

As much as I wanted the Logitech, I went ahead and bought the Razer Orochi v2. For $35, it's a solid deal. I just hate the Razer logo. I wish it were more subtle.

I've had this mouse for about a year now. Very satisfied with it, I use rechargeable batteries with it, one battery at a time, lasts about 2 weeks with it being my primary work mouse.

I bought this mouse 3 months ago from Best Buy. I use it daily and the single AA battery still hasn't died. I use it on Bluetooth mode.

Super light, very well constructed and accurate. My only complaint is the power savings are a little overzealous - when the mouse goes to sleep after a period of non-use it takes a bunch of sliding around to wake it up. But as I say that's Bluetooth mode and probably good for long battery life.

Does anyone know if we can switch between computers like the logitech 3rd button does? I switch between 2 or 3 computers so it is pretty essential!

When was it ever $9.99? According to the 3 Cs lowest has been $27.99.

edit - I'm dumb. just noticed the price shows the $10 crossed out
