I bought it two years ago for about the same price. I haven't used the charcoal side yet (I have a Weber Kettle too), but I use the gas side a couple of times a week and the smoker from time to time. Despite my initial impression and some reviews, it has actually held up pretty well. I keep it outside on the deck. No major rust so far. I highly recommend the fitted cover from Pit Boss. It fits perfectly and has held up well. It's not cheap though.

It's huge and it weighs a ton and a half but rolls easily on the wheels. At least two strong people needed to lift the box. A dolly is pretty much needed to carry the box around unless you and your friends are Olympic weightlifters. The box barely fit into my Subaru Ascent with the rear seats down.
Assembly took a whole morning. Not difficult, but there are a thousand steps. Frankly, some parts could have come preassembled.
As far as the grill goes, it's OK. It's hard to get it to go past 500 F. The gas controls are a bit finicky. I find it hard to keep it to the temperature I want. The hooks are chromed plastic and break easily. Other than that, I am reasonably happy with it for the price I paid. It has a lot of features. I like that you can pipe the smoke from the smoker to either the gas or charcoal side. It works well to give a smoky flavor to grilled food, even on gas.

Looks like Brickseek is dead for finding Walmart clearance..

That one looks like the first edition and this one is the second (2.0). I could be wrong tho

Yeah that is the OG version. I bit on the V2 version last weekend at the $350 price point. Walmart in 66062 with about 9 grills sitting outside in the rain in lawn and garden. Brickseek showing $249 at that location now which isn't surprising. It's my understanding the main change with 2.0 version is a little easier setup and the loss of "smoke piping" into the grill chambers.

I honestly don't trust brickseek for any retailer. The last 7-8 times I've used it (Target, Walmart, Lowe's and Home Depot) and it said the store had stock, the store had been cleaned out already. Waste of time chasing these YMMV deals unless you already need something at the store and are willing to go anyway.

That's a bummer. I think being able to chose what side to exhaust the smoker box to is it's best feature.
