That's stuff most of us do, and kudos to you, but you missed his point that these are designed to use while the power is on. Do not leave the power on while doing the things you described. This is not a trick tool so that you can save some time by leaving the breaker on, it's for more advanced work where you cannot turn it off.

I'm not really sure. People doing minor electrical work likely aren't skilled and shouldn't be working on anything while energized. A pro would spend more on one tool than this whole kit cost if they were working on stuff energized.

I have insulated screwdrivers, but wouldn't replace them with Amazon-branded ones. Not worth it.

There's a value in insulated tools just for working on things you think are not energized, just in case. I have a full set of Milwaukee insulated screwdrivers. I would make sure to use those if I was working on an outlet, even though I was certain I felt certain that I turned the correct breaker off.
