Me neither but it's a good idea, first 3 in series to get 4.5v, second 3 in parallel just to add more hours of use. Pretty cool.
I already have tons of flashlights, many unopened and in the original packaging. I definitely don't need any more.

In for 2!

Man, I've bought so many flash lights that I'm actually looking forward to a power shutdown, and say to my wife, "now you know why I've bought so many flash lights! You're welcome."

LMFAO! That's me every day with SD. I just pulled out an infrared thermometer gun I bought several years ago and we just got a Blackstone griddle and I busted it out and said "see! This is why I buy things for a great price on SD! So we don't have to run out and get a thermometer!" 🤣

Changing and charging 6 AA's for a mediocre bright flashlight is spending money for a chore.
Add the cost of NIMH's https://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasi...B00HZV9WTM ~$20 and you could have just bought a fancy rechargeable light in the first place.

Fumbling with batteries 700lumen = $27.57

2000 lumen powered by usb charge 21700 = $30

Why spent $30 when bunch of SD postings have branded energizer rechargeable flashlights at 50% off quite frequently??? I personally would stay away from flashlights with battery even though I personally have accumulated over 200 + batteries & tons of flashlights & lanterns (mostly rechargeable ones).

It was just an example you can get now, there have been even better Sofirn deals here as well.

Only furthers the point, there is no reason to buy these triple alkaline types anymore.

I have the older model, doesn't have the grip but uses 6 AA batteries. It's in my take everywhere tool set. Pretty good battery life, been dropped, rolled off things, bounced out of the back of the truck, still works. Had to pull one of the springs straight, would flicker when shook. But it was easy fix and it still works.
Is that how you fix the insane strobe auto coming on? Only way I found was beating it to death and hope for a good after life.
