Pretty decent deal, it's worth bearing in mind that both Series X and Series S consoles have only a single expansion slot, meaning that you can't use more than one card at a time, so you should be confident in the size you purchase before committing to one, also keep in mind Black Friday is soon and they may be dumping the larger drives at a discount then, I want to pull the trigger but not sure if i should hold off...

lol yes, yes; I knew it was only for Xbox in the first place. My point is, do I want to reward that aspect of the tech or do I want to get an external that can at least be move to other roles later when this console does eventually get put to rest. The Xbox 360 HDDs come to mind.

It really depends on how many games you actually play and whether or not you effectively play a lot of games. For someone who rarely plays or someone who just has less than a handful of games, this accessory don't really make any sense to buy. 512 GB of internal storage from Series S for instance is sufficient.

not sure but since it in monopolized they can hold off on dropping the price, but the fact that they did on the 512gb may be a sign and they may be clearing inventory, still, I refuse to get ripped off and would rather spend my time managing my storage better than getting ripped off.
