Going strictly by their ranking, the drive would be between B and A tier. But I'm honestly confused on the rankings due to the lack of stats used, plus they mix gen 3 and 4 on the same tier with many A drives.

An sk hynix p31 gold should trade blows with a samsung Evo pro 970, both gen 3, yet the Evo is A tier and the sk hynix b tier.

Do you mean the 970 Pro or 970 EVO?

For those looking for some relative ranking of this drive compared to some others: https://www.tomshardware.com/revi...he-cheap/2

Short answer, average drive that should be okay for many if you have reasonable expectations - "The P3 Plus performed surprisingly well, buoyed by its aggressively large SLC cache and many improvements to the QLC flash" ... "That being said, the P3 Plus is still powered by QLC which has its shortcomings. It's not going to set records"

I'd suppose it makes a cheap ps5 drive if you throw on a heatsink

Total Terabytes Written (how much it can write in its lifetime) is awfully low compared to other brands at 440 TBW. Firecuda 520 2tb is 3600 TBW for reference and Samsung 980 Pro 2tb is 1200 TBW
