Not able to participate; but from the wording ""Numbers ported in must be from carriers that have calling, voice and data services. " I'm guessing this is intended to rule out VOIP services (GV / Numberbarn etc.).

Based on that and considering the cheaper options available

1) Boost mobile has a $1 sim for a 1 month trial with 5GB data. Note that you do need to provide a credit card for buying, and some jumping through the hoops to get your account number and pin for porting out.

https://slickdeals.net/f/15885721-boost-mobile-first-month-5gb-5g-4g-lte-free-sim-0-99-tax

Or you can get the 3 month 15 GB plan from Best Buy for $15; avoids providing a credit card, but you still have to manage the account number and pin.

https://slickdeals.net/f/16046194-boost-mobile-3-months-5gb-plan-sim-card-kit-14-99-at-best-buy

2) Ting $1 sim from Target (and possibly Best Buy) with $30 credit.

https://slickdeals.net/f/16019956-target-1-ting-sim-kit-with-30-free-service

Use a virtual card (if your credit card provides, or if you have service on privacy). Sign up for the flex plan ($10 for UTT + $5 per GB). Wait 1 / 2 days to confirm that the $30 credit is added, if you port out before that's added your credit card may get charged for 1 month. Porting details are available through your online account.

3) H2Owireless offers eSIM and paygo plan with $10 refill; 90 days validity, you need to contact CS to get your port out details.

4) There are some sellers on eBay offering port numbers; prices start at $5 if you're buying multiple (10 or so); or around $8-10 for singles. Haven't tried it, others may be able to comment. On occasion I've also seen members here and on reddit comment that they have numbers available for a price.

Here are the terms: https://fi.google.com/about/promo-terms/?p=2022-free-Fi-service&utm_medium=email&utm_source=promo&ut... [google.com]

All lines need a port-in. I wonder what the eligible carriers are. The terms ay "Numbers ported in must be from carriers that have calling, voice and data services. "

Has it really? I'm looking at the Pixel 6 series and am scared. I have a P3XL and that was my 3rd replacement. I've had a lot of QC issues as a Pixel owner starting from the Nexus line. Have things gotten better?

I have 2 friends who say they have this phone, and they said they haven't had issues, for what it's worth... but definitely do your own research on it too

Seems like the experience had been a bit ymmv even with the updates and fixes but I got at launch and at first couldn't ever get my fingerprints to work. Now it works fine for the most part. though note that it's still not as fast as Samsung's implementation.

I don't use fingerprints, and in Android 12 the most annoying thing for me with the P6 was that the Adaptive Brightness never seemed to do what I wanted it to do. I also shut off 5G access to save on the battery a bit.

After updating to Android 13, I don't have any complaints about the phone at all.
