$250 Hisense 65"! I bought one of those… once. It ended up in a dumpster 18 months later. Don't shame me. I was pissed. Buyer beware, you really do get what you pay for…… the infamous Black Friday 2020 Best Buy 65" tv deal. I bet there are dozens of slick dealers here who can testify that their TVs died within 2 years.
Sorry dude but I got those BF deals too! Tcl and Hisense it was so cheap I bought the extended warranty. I'm going on close to 3 years now and the TV's are used everyday not a single problem. Sometimes you get a dud even with name brands but these brands are a good price and quality is pretty good too. Specially Hisense in my opinion. Next time buy an extended warranty it's not much and if they can't fix it they give you a new one!

A good deal based on the specs.

Based on my last tv delivery experience, I am no longer confident about delivery. A 32" Hisense tv I bought from Costco was delivered with some scuffs on the box. The tv looked fine. Hooked everything up and it looked like somebody used the screen as a punching bag. Returned it. I can't fit a 65" in my car to return.
I was worried about this too. I have to return my 55" and I don't even have a car. I went through the return process on Costco and the default option is to have it picked up by FedEx for free. I was surprised. I'm waiting to schedule a pickup appt.

I have 2 TCLs that are going strong 5+ years while an Insignia that backlight died 3+ years later. Its a bit of a crapshoot but apparently some manufacturers put the backlight too high and it burns out the LEDs.

Does this mean, I can buy it right now (for 400, get 100 back in rebate, and then an additional 50 when it goes back on sale in about a week thus still benefit from the discounts)?

It was junk the whole time I owned it. Slow as crap google OS. Always crashing. Random reboots, boot loops, had to unplug and plug
Back in. Maybe they are better now i dunno.. but check the old Hisense threads from BF 2 years ago… lots of complaints.
I buy cheap TVs tho. Don't get me wrong. Rolling the dice on a 75" Sony for $550 right now lol

Excellent deal, but make sure to get any extended warranty you can, either through your credit card or through Costco. Hisense TVs are not known to be durable in the long term. While the panel is usually sourced from reputable manufacturers, they tend to cheap out on other components like the power supply. Obviously, it is to be able to minimize the loss of selling the TVs so low. They are making money on ads, preloaded apps, and from your data collected on your usage and viewing habits on the TV.

I still have the Panasonic Plasma 1080P. I want newer TV, but it never die and hate to throw away very good working TV without dead spot.
