My uncle just turned 74 and celebrated his 8th year as a Costa Rican resident. He's on the Pacific coast, away from cities, and the only issue he's had were one assault where he needed stitches, and his wallet has been stolen twice.
All three incidents were monkeys.
Ridiculous statement...ask anyone
who lives there or knows how to travel..

His wallet must have looked like a banana.
Is that a banana in your pocket or are you just happy to see
me?
We get it, you watch right wing news channels and you're convinced the sky is falling. Please stay inside, draw the curtains, and watch out for the "others."
