That's fine if you settle for low quality sound. I own several Bluetooth receivers like my fiio btr3 and straight wired still sounds noticeably better. Both my Sony Bluetooth sets (wh-1000xm4 and wf-1000xm4) sound worse than most of my wired cans or iems. The Sonys cost substantially more for lower sound quality. I admit that the noise canceling is nice at times but to me sound quality is the most important thing.

What do you recommend for affordable comfortable cans with good sound quality.

These are shit earbuds, if they were Bluetooth they would sound even worse. Bluetooth headsets and dongle type receivers are lower in sound quality than their wires counterparts. I own several Bluetooth amplifiers that allow you to use Bluetooth or a wired connection and side by side Bluetooth has worse sound quality.
Do what I did. Go buy a pair of Audio Technica ATH-M50x and a pair of Audio Technica ATH-M50xbt. Same set of headphones, one is wired and the other Bluetooth. The wired set sounds better than the Bluetooth set in side by side comparison.
