Thanks, maybe I'll buy the codes now and just save them for when my Amazon subscription expires
Just be careful if your expiration is too far out. If you're trying to redeem these codes 3 months/years from now and for some reason it doesn't work, you may have trouble seeking help from newegg/microsoft/credit card.

Has anyone else tried the personal to family upgrade for $10 hack and had success? Look at posts #4 and #6

I did it over the summer and it worked fine. I think I followed the directions in that thread.

This deal will likely come back during BF or even slightly better for those that don't need it right now.

What's the best deal if you have 2+ years VPN paid for but need the 1TB onedrive? I'm thinking 365 + Bit Defender

edit: I ordered. why does it take so long to get the codes?

edit 2: took 2 and half hours but got both codes

I've read that one can stack subscriptions of 5 years maximum. If this is true, what happens if one already has a subscription paid for another 4.5 years and adds another 1 year code? Thanks.

if you got hit by the one per client, the workaround I found is I bought first the family version with nordvpn for six people, then after activating both nordvpn code and office, i went back and bought single user / nordvpn, it upgraded the nordvpn to another year, and in the office activation it showed me either to add nine months and stay as a family or get a year and switch to personal, and I went with the first
, so that made nine months = 39.9 $

Update

I was able to buy another one-user bundle with Norton VPN and at Microsoft, i opted for 9-month family

so i think the one per client counts each bundle individually

This O 365 subscription is the basic. I don't think it would do something more advance like hosting your own domain.

I was in a similar situation as you and made a mistake of activating one of my code too soon as my AV was expired, all they did was added the remaining months to the subscription to make it exactly 60 months. I ended up losing out on 3 months...

For the Slickdealers smarter than I (which is probably many)

A short while ago I activated a 15-month Family subscription, so right now it's ending mid November 2023. With the currently available offers, I would like to figure out the most cost-effective way of extending my Family subscription without exceeding the 5-year maximum. I'm not really factoring in the VPN or antivirus as I don't need either.

I think (although am not 100% positive from reading through the comments, it's possible I've misunderstood) that I could purchase a 12-month Personal plan for $40 and then add it to my existing Family plan and be offered to convert it to 9 months of Family (which equates to $4.44 per month) or alternatively add a 12-month Family plan for $65, which equates to $5.41 per month.

So, could someone who has successfully accomplished this please confirm (or refute) that I could purchase 5 x Personal plans for a total of $200, and then add 45 months to my current 15 months, totaling 60 months of subscription?

Any issues I might run into?

Have you had any experience with a code not working because it has gone "stale"? Thanks.

Open your nord account, manage plan, "Got a Coupon" at the bottom.

I meant to buy the nord bundle, accidentally bought the Norton. Newegg said they couldn't cancel because the code was sent immediately. If anyone needs a Norton code, let me know.

Edit: this is done
